AirAsia Invites All to a Snowy Winter Season Fly Direct “Chiang Mai-Hangzhou” and New Route “Chiang Mai-Beijing” from Only 1,990 THB per Trip!

Chiang Mai, 30 October 2018 - AirAsia invites all to fly direct from Chiang Mai to destinations across China this winter season with flights from Chiang Mai to Hangzhou, Nanchang and newly added Beijing, all starting at only 1,990 THB per trip.  Book the promotional fare 30 October – 11 November, 2018 for travel from 30 November, 2018 – 30 March, 2019.

AirAsia has continued to introduce new routes to its Chiang Mai hub, where it currently stations 7 airplanes operating both domestic and international flights.  The airline flies internationally from Chiang Mai to Macau, Hong Kong, Hangzhou, Changsha, Kuala Lumpur (AK), Yangon, Taipei, Hanoi, Nanchang and the newly added Beijing.

Chiang Mai-Beijing is available for booking now at a special wintertime fare starting from only 1,990 THB/Trip and starts flying 30 November, 2018.  Passengers can book the promotional fare today at www.airasia.com and all ticketing channels until 11 November, 2018 for travel from 30 November, 2018 to 30 March, 2019.  Promotional flights from Chiang Mai-Nanchang begin 1 December, 2018 while Chiang Mai-Hangzhou began 28 October, 2018.

Mr. Santisuk Klongchaiya, CEO of Thai AirAsia, pointed out the Chinese market has very high potential and continues to attract high volumes of both Thai and international tourists who travel there to experience its culture and natural wonders, which only become more impressive in the winter.

The new Chiang Mai-Beijing route marks the first time Thai AirAsia will be flying into the Chinese capital and provides an opportunity for Thai travelers to easily reach the Great Wall of China, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and historic sites the Forbidden Palace and Tiananmen Square.

Hangzhou meanwhile is a magnificent city of lakes, including its centrally located Xihu or West Lake.  The city is also well known among bicycle riders, who enjoy navigating its beautiful streets.

Domestically, the airline flies Chiang Mai to Udon Thani, Khon Kaen, Pattaya (U-Tapao), Surat Thani, Krabi, Hat Yai, Phuket and Bangkok.
