Travel Advisory: AirAsia flights to move from Melbourne Tullamarine to Melbourne Avalon

MELBOURNE, 28 November 2018 – AirAsia is reminding guests it will cease and close its operation at Melbourne Tullamarine Airport and transition to the new Melbourne Avalon International Airport effective 5 December 2018, 02:00am local time (GMT+11).

For convenience, guests departing from the new terminal are advised to check-in via airasia.com or the AirAsia mobile app, print their boarding pass and arrive at the airport no later than 3 hours prior to their flight departure.

Guests are then encouraged to proceed immediately through the new immigration and customs processing and arrive at the boarding gate no later than 45 minutes before the flight departure.

Guests booked to travel between 05 December and 12 December 2018 are able to make use of complimentary SkyBus services between Melbourne CBD and Avalon International Airport on presentation of their AirAsia boarding pass or flight confirmation.
