AirAsia India increases frequency between Mumbai-New Delhi to 4 flights daily

Guests can also fly to Goa, Chennai, Srinagar and Chandigarh from the commercial capital

National, November 16, 2019: India’s most preferred low-cost carrier, AirAsia India today announced its network expansion plans by increasing frequency between Mumbai-New Delhi-Mumbai and will now operate 4 daily flights. The airline has also introduced a new route between Mumbai – Goa and Mumbai – Chennai. The increase in frequency between Mumbai-New Delhi will also enable guests to travel to Chandigarh and Srinagar via New Delhi without change of aircraft.

 The new routes have been opened for sale effective 19th October 2019 and the operations to these new destinations from Mumbai will commence on 27th October 2019. The ticket fares will start at INR 1915 onwards.

 Speaking about the development, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, COO, AirAsia India, said “We recently set up Mumbai as our 4th hub and have now increased frequency from BOM-DEL-BOM to 4x daily. This increase in frequency will also allow our guests from Mumbai to travel to Srinagar and Chandigarh via New Delhi. We have also introduced direct flights to Goa and Chennai from Mumbai. Mumbai is an important market for us considering the growing passenger traffic and with the addition of these routes, we are looking forward to building a strong link between Mumbai and the other parts of the country.” AirAsia India Currently operates flights to Bengaluru, Kolkata and Hyderabad in addition to below.
