Travel Advisory: AirAsia X flights XJ612 and XJ613

Bangkok, 5 April 2019 - Thai AirAsia X (carrier code XJ) has advised that it will re-time one daily return flight from Bangkok to Osaka between 7-11 April due to unscheduled aircraft maintenance requirements.

AirAsia X flights XJ612 and XJ613 between Bangkok and Osaka are affected by these changes.

The revised schedule is as follows:

Affected guests will be notified of their revised flight status via email and SMS.

Guests whose flights have been re-timed are also entitled to choose one of the following service recovery options:

  1. Move flight: One-time flight change to a new departure date on the same route within 30 calendar days from the originally scheduled flight date without additional cost, subject to seat availability; OR

  2. Credit account: Retain the value of fare in a credit account for future travel with AirAsia. The online Credit Account to be redeemed within 90 calendar days from the date of issue, for travel date of your choice; OR

  3. Full Refund: Obtain a full refund for the amount equivalent to your booking directly to the original form of payment. This can be done via e-form available on support.airasia.com. Refund for bookings made through travel agents including online travel agents must be done via travel agents from which the booking was made.

Affected guests with Fly-Thru connections may also request to move their flight, once at no additional cost.
