AirAsia’s Teleport expands services to provide customs clearance

SEPANG, 15 July 2020 – As part of their services expansion, Teleport, AirAsia’s logistics arm is now providing customs clearance services for cross-border e-commerce in East Malaysia.  

As such, Teleport’s personnel may be obligated to contact customers to request for their personal details required for the customs clearance process which may include their IC number. Teleport personnel will issue an invoice with the amount of duty payable for customer’s items, inclusive of handling fees to Teleport.

Appointing Teleport as the customs clearance agent would save customer’s time and remove the hassle of making payment at the relevant customs offices where the parcels are kept. 

For more information, customers may email delivery@teleport.asia. All official email communications such as the invoice will also be sent from this email address.
