AirAsia launches new routes from Manila to General Santos and Zamboanga

MANILA, 3 September 2020 - AirAsia today announced its newest destinations to Mindanao: General Santos and Zamboanga, flying from Manila beginning October 25 and 27, respectively.

AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla said, “We are pleased to finally announce the launch of our much anticipated commercial flights to General Santos and Zamboanga, which can now be booked on our website and mobile app. These routes are very special as, ahead of our commercial flights this coming October, we have already successfully mounted a number of chartered repatriation flights to and from the two cities to assist in bringing home Filipinos back to their hometowns.

“Despite the current health situation, AirAsia continues to push for domestic connectivity to provide a much needed boost for economic activity in the country, especially in the South. We are committed to launching more destinations and gradually restoring our strong domestic network before the year ends.”

To celebrate the new destinations, AirAsia is offering all-in promotional fares from Manila to Zamboanga and General Santos from as low as P511 for BIG members.

Book at airasia.com or via the AirAsia mobile app from today until 5 September 2020 for travel between 25 October 2020 and 27 March 2021.
