KUALA LUMPUR, 1 JUNE 2022 - The fastest growing e-hailing service by airasia Super App, airasia ride, reaffirms to its passengers and drivers that the company will continue to ensure fair fares for both parties despite the recent issue of high fares and increased difficulty in getting a ride as Malaysia gradually transitions to the endemic phase.

This sentiment was shared by Datuk Kamarudin Meranun, Executive Chairman of Capital A, Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, Group CEO of Capital A, and Lim Chiew Shan, Regional CEO of airasia ride, at airasia ride’s Drivers’ Gathering and press conference event today at airasia ride’s headquarters in SetiaWalk Mall. Top performing drivers were also rewarded during the event with special gifts from airasia ride’s driver benefit partners such as Shell Malaysia and Liqui Moly.

“As e-hailing fares in the market have evidently been spiking in recent weeks, airasia ride would like to reassure customers that our fares have always been fair for both drivers and customers.
