KUALA LUMPUR, 21 JUNE 2022 - As AirAsia gradually resumes most of its international flights to pre-pandemic levels with the reopening of international borders across the region, the company’s online duty-free shopping platform, airasia travelmall by airasia Super App, aims to offer greater flexibility and convenience with its new pre-book international and local duty-free shopping feature. 

By clicking on the ‘Travelmall’ icon before your next flight, guests can now browse from a wide range of selections across authentic skincare, fragrance, fashion, gadgets, and beverage brands and pre-book duty-free items and have them delivered to their seat in-flight. Travellers heading to Langkawi can have the option of having their duty-free items delivered to their hotel or picking them up in the store on the island.

In addition to the new feature, guests can now benefit from more attractive deals over a broader range of products as airasia travelmall also announced a series of partnerships with top international and local duty-free retailers, including Heinemann Duty Free, Chocolate Box, Jet.Set.Go, FlamenCo, Delicacies of Malaysia, Sprint-Cass, J&S Duty Free, and many more. 

In conjunction with the launch of the new feature and exciting new partnerships, app and online users with international flight bookings can enjoy discounts of up to 60% on selected duty-free items, as well as RM80 off their shopping cart (on top of duty-free prices) with the promo code TMDUTY80 during checkout from now until 30 June 2022.

This allows them to save time without rushing for shopping before their flights, and even baggage space as their duty-free purchase can be delivered right to their seat in-flight instead.”
