AirAsia Philippines Wins Gold at NEXT Awards Asia-Pacific 2025 for Gen Z–Driven “LFG!” Campaign

10 Dec 2025, Manila, Philippines — AirAsia Philippines has clinched the Gold Award for Most Innovative Video Marketing Campaign at the NEXT Awards Asia-Pacific 2025, recognized for its bold, Gen Z–centered “Let’s Fly and Go! (LFG!)” campaign that reimagined how airlines engage younger travelers.

The award was presented during the gala night held at Shangri-La The Fort, Manila, which gathered 79 leading organizations from across the Asia-Pacific region.

The NEXT Awards Asia-Pacific is part of MARKETECH APAC’s flagship What’s NEXT in Marketing Series which honors standout campaigns celebrated for creativity, effectiveness, and regional impact. This year’s winners represented a diverse set of markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Australia, Myanmar, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.

AirAsia Philippines earned recognition for its 2024 LFG! campaign, a multi-platform video initiative that broke from traditional airline marketing. The campaign captured the excitement of spontaneous travel—the rush of clicking “book now,” last-minute adventures, and friends saying “Let’s go!”—creating a story that connected strongly with Gen Z. Its fresh storytelling and dynamic execution positioned AirAsia as the first local airline to roll out a video-led brand push of this scale and style.

Gian Directo, Head of Commercial, expressed gratitude for the honor, “Truly grateful to be recognized at the NEXT Awards 2025 by MARKETECH APAC. Winning Gold for Most Innovative Video Marketing Campaign means so much to our team, and we’re inspired to keep pushing boundaries. With LFG!, we didn’t just sell flights, we captured the excitement of travel itself, inspiring the next generation to explore, discover, and create memories with AirAsia.”
