Travel Advisory: AirAsia to shift domestic flight operations to Kertajati International Airport starting 30 June 2019
Bali-Bandung route becomes Bali-Kertajati
Flight schedules will be adjusted, guests will get new flight itineraries and are required to reprint their boarding passes
BANDUNG, 25 June 2019 - AirAsia will be moving its domestic flight operations in Bandung from Husein Sastranegara International Airport (BDO) to Kertajati International Airport (KJT) in Majalengka, around 2.5 to 3 hours' drive from Bandung.
The move is effective 30 June 2019 in accordance with the direction from the Indonesian air transport authority.
International flight operations will remain at Husein Sastranegara International Airport.
Following the move, flight numbers and schedules will be adjusted as follows:
Guests holding Bali-Bandung bookings from 30 June 2019 onwards should check their emails for new flight itineraries and are required to reprint their boarding passes.
We understand that the move to Kertajati may not be convenient for all of our guests. For those unable to travel to or from Kertajati, we offer one of the following service recovery options via our support.airasia.com page:
Move flight. One-time change flight to another departure date or time on the same route within 30 calendar days in advance or after the original scheduled flight date without additional cost, subject to seat availability, from Kertajati International Airport (or Husein Sastranegara Airport prior to 30 June 2019); OR
Credit account. Request for a credit account of the value of your booking which is to be redeemed within 90 calendar days from the issuance date for your future travel with us. The actual travel dates can be after the expiry date as long as our schedule is out; OR
Full refund. Request for a full refund of the value of your booking.
For refunds, visit support.airasia.com and select “Chat with AVA”. Once the AVA chat window opens, select “Refund” from the menu followed by “New Refund Request”, “Airport Move Refund” and complete the fields as directed by AVA.
For bookings made and paid through a travel agent or third party, kindly contact the travel agent directly for credit account or full refund.
