Newly added home delivery service 

KUALA LUMPUR, 23 June 2021 - IKHLAS, airasia Digital’s muslim-friendly line of business is offering easy, convenient and affordable prices for Muslims to perform their Qurban obligation online via ikhlas.com or the IKHLAS app from today until 20 July 2021. 

Qurban refers to the act of sacrificing domestic animals such as cows or goats, and sharing the meat with family, friends as well as the poor and underprivileged on Eid al-Adha. 

With the Movement Control Order (MCO) still ongoing that restricts movement and limits gathering, IKHLAS offers a service that will make the process convenient, secure and contactless. Moreover, to ensure the standard operating procedures (SOP) are adhered to, IKHLAS has partnered with local breeders throughout Malaysia in managing the Qurban process according to shariah and they are recognised by the Department of Veterinary Service (JPV) to slaughter at Abattoirs or any slaughterhouses registered with the Department of Veterinary Service (JPV).  

Ikhlas Kamarudin, Head of IKHLAS said, “Eid Al-Adha is less than a month away and we are pleased to assist those wanting to fulfil their obligations with a hassle-free, easy and secure online Qurban booking. We currently offer affordable packages both local and international Qurban. 

“There are two types of local Qurban - Qurban Asnaf, one part of a cow priced at RM750 nett and a whole cow at RM5,250 nett while Qurban Ordinary, one part of a cattle priced at RM780 nett and a whole cow at RM5,460.”

“This year, we are happy to offer local Qurban service nationwide with a newly added home delivery option for selected areas, which will make it convenient for the participants to perform their Qurban with us. We also continue in extending our hands and partnered with many local breeders in order to support their livelihood and businesses in this challenging period. Through our local Qurban Asnaf and International Qurban services, we aim to distribute the meat packages to 90,000 less fortunate families nationwide and other countries.”

“IKHLAS also offers International Qurban,  one part of a cow is priced at RM320 nett, while a whole  cow (7 parts) costs RM2,240 and each goat is priced at RM580 nett. The International Qurban will be distributed as meat packages to less fortunate individuals and families in over 35 countries - Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Somalia, and Tanzania, among others.” added Ikhlas.    

Each Qurban booked through ikhlas.com/qurban will also be awarded BIG Points (earn 1 BIG Point for every RM2 spent). Each participant will also receive an official Qurban certificate. A photo of Qurban can be requested for those who book with IKHLAS starting today until 12 July 2021.
