Indonesia AirAsia Postpones Plan to Relocate All Domestic Flights to Terminal 2 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport

JAKARTA, 2 December 2023 – The world's best low-cost airline according to Skytrax, Indonesia AirAsia, postpones the plan to relocate all its domestic flights to Terminal 2 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Jakarta, previously scheduled for December 6, 2023. Currently, all domestic flights will continue to operate from Terminal 1A.

"We are postponing the relocation to ensure readiness and comfort in providing the best travel experience for all Indonesia AirAsia passengers on domestic routes," said Capt. Wuri Septiawan, Director of Flight Operations Indonesia AirAsia in Jakarta (2/12).

Capt. Wuri added that the postponement of this relocation plan is also implemented to maintain the quality of Indonesia AirAsia's service and to uphold the trust of its loyal passengers who frequently travel domestically through Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
