Delivering Magic! Teleport Helps Customers Deliver End-to-end to East Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, 9 November 2020 - With the recent rise of COVID-19 cases in East Malaysia, particularly in Sabah, the logistics venture of AirAsia, Teleport has ramped up its end-to-end services to provide unprecedented delivery speed of medical goods in less than 24 hours. 

A recent example involved delivering laboratory samples from a lab in Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu to their counterpart in Klang, Selangor in just under eight hours. In a feat that would typically take several days of manual coordination, Teleport helped its customers critically deliver at unheard of speeds. 

Teleport also assisted customers such as Nobel International School and Whispering Hope Methodist Church in partnership with Crisis Relief Services and Training (CREST) to deliver medical donations to various locations in Miri, Sarawak and to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. 

As part of Nobel International School’s Act of Kindness campaign, Teleport moved a total of 72 boxes of face shields to 9 schools across Miri, Sarawak and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Teleport supported CREST to deliver 28 cartons of face masks to local communities in Tuaran, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Teleport also delivered 24 boxes of COVID-19 test kits to a clinic in Stutong, Kuching for AxisBio Diagnostics Sdn Bhd.

Apart from end-to-end deliveries, Teleport will also be assisting Strallex Technology Sdn Bhd in transporting 5 disinfectant machines to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. These machines will be distributed to 5 different hospitals in helping the Malaysian Medical Association in Sabah to combat the rise of COVID-19.
