AirAsia Philippines informs guests on flight schedule adjustments in compliance with EASA’s Airworthiness Directive
29 November 2025, Manila, Philippines - AirAsia Philippines today announced its compliance to the Airworthiness Directive (AD) of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), requiring Airbus A320 aircraft to undergo software rollback.
As the required software rollback affects airlines globally operating the same aircraft type, AirAsia is taking all necessary steps to comply swiftly and responsibly. We want to assure our guests that safety is, and will always be, our top priority.
“We likewise ask for your understanding as these aircraft software rollbacks may result in flight disruptions and schedule adjustments. Our people are working with urgency and care to manage all concerns and provide support to all affected guests. As this is a developing situation, guests travelling on 29 November 2025 are directly notified via email and SMS on the flight schedule adjustments and are advised to stay updated via the MOVE app (airasia.com/flightstatus), the AskBo chatbot and their registered email for the latest information.
AirAsia is continuing to monitor the situation and is in close coordination with aviation and transportation authorities to provide timely and relevant information to affected guests.
