Turn August Long Weekends into Getaways with AirAsia Philippines' 8.8 Sale from Just Php188

2 Aug 2026, Manila — With several long weekends ahead, AirAsia Philippines is encouraging Filipinos to make the most of their holiday breaks by exploring new destinations with its 8.8 Sale, offering one-way base fares from as low as PHP188 to domestic and international destinations.

Guests can book promotional fares from August 3 to 9, 2026, for travel between August 3, 2026 and July 31, 2027, making it easier to plan both immediate escapes and future holidays at affordable prices.

The latest campaign reinforces AirAsia Philippines' commitment to keeping air travel accessible despite higher operating costs, including elevated fuel prices, by continuing to offer value-driven fares and travel bundles.

In support of the Department of Tourism's "Discover More to Love" campaign, AirAsia Philippines is making domestic travel more affordable with one-way base fares from PHP188 to Cagayan de Oro and Bacolod, PHP288 to Kalibo, Cebu, Tacloban, and Iloilo, and PHP488 to Caticlan, the gateway to Boracay.

Beyond low fares, AirAsia Philippines is also introducing its PHP600 Value Pack Lite, which bundles 15kg checked baggage and seat selection, providing travelers with greater convenience and savings in one affordable package.

Make every trip more satisfying with Santan, AirAsia Philippines' inflight menu, featuring Filipino favorites like Beef Tapa and Ube Milk from as low as PHP 170 when pre-booked before your flight, much cheaper than onboard purchases.

The airline has seen travel demand steadily recover since June, following the stabilization of fuel surcharges and the return of lower fares. Caticlan and Iloilo continue to rank among AirAsia Philippines' most-booked domestic destinations, while Da Nang and Kota Kinabalu remain top choices for international travelers, reflecting renewed confidence and growing demand for both leisure and regional travel.
