Twenty artistes from Asean vie for the chance to perform with David Foster

SEPANG, 13 November 2017 - AirAsia today launched the Dreams Come True with AirAsia campaign to find and nurture Asean musical talent.

The airline will work with music platform Spotify to identify 20 promising musical talents from Asean who will vie for a chance to perform with legendary producer, performer, songwriter, musician, composer and AirAsia ambassador David Foster.

The artistes participating in this campaign are IV of Spades, Abirama, Airliftz, Axel Brizzy, Banna Harbera, Battle Bloom, BECKA, Ben Sihombing, Bil Musa, Jean Tan Li Juan, JinHo Bae, Keiko Necesario, Kuizz, Miss Lou, Reality Club, Rob and the Hitmen, Semenjana, Talitha Tan, The Façade and VVYND.

Music fans are encouraged to stream their favorite up-and-coming artistes on Spotify during this nine-week campaign. The number of streams garnered during this period will determine which of the 20 artistes will get to perform with Foster at one of his concerts next year.

AirAsia Group CEO Tan Sri Tony Fernandes said, “Music, Asean and making dreams come true are three big themes in my life, and it gives me great pleasure to be able to bring them all together in this way. Through this campaign, we hope to discover, hone and promote Asean’s next big musical sensation and to make a difference in their lives. I can think of no better mentor for this task than my good friend David Foster, who knows a thing or two about making hits.”
