AirAsia India appoints Deepak Mahendra as Chief Financial Officer

BENGALURU, 7 February 2017 - AirAsia India (AAI) has appointed Mr. Deepak Mahendra as the Chief Financial Officer of the company. Mr. Mahendra joins with immediate effect.

Prior to joining AirAsia India, Mr. Mahendra was Chief – Corporate Finance & Accounts of Tata Power since 2008. A Chartered Accountant, Mr. Mahendra brings with him over three decades of experience in the finance function in diverse organisations in India and overseas.  He started his career with Tata Steel.

AirAsia India currently flies to 11 destinations with its two hubs in Bengaluru & New Delhi covering Chandigarh, Jaipur, Guwahati, Imphal, Pune, Goa, Vizag, Kochi and Hyderabad. The airline will start flying to Srinagar & Bagdogra from 19 February 2017.
