Travel back to your hometown or visit new destinations with all-in-fares from as low as RM59* one way from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu, Johor Bahru, Langkawi, Kuching, Sibu, Kota Kinabalu, and more. Guests can also enjoy low fares from RM289* one way from Kuala Lumpur to international destinations such as Changsha, Cebu, Kaohsiung, Bali as well as AirAsia X flights to Perth, Tokyo and many more.

The promotional fares are available for booking online at airasia.com from 12 June 2017 until 18 June 2017 for the immediate travel period from 12 June 2017 to 14 January 2018. Bookings can also be made via AirAsia’s mobile app on iPhone and Android devices, as well as the mobile site mobile.airasia.com. It is also recommended for our guests to plan and book their flights up to 365 days in advance to enjoy the low fares for all travelling period.

To accommodate the festive period, AirAsia adds a total of 48 extra flights per way per week from 15 June 2017 to 9 July 2017 for selected cities such as Kuala Lumpur to Penang (3 additional flights per way per week), Johor Bahru to Miri (7 additional flights per way per week), Kota Bharu to Kuala Lumpur (3 additional flights per way per week), Kota Kinabalu to Johor Bahru (7 additional flights per way per week), and many more.

As a travel advisory during this festive season, AirAsia would like to recommend all guests to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to departure for AirAsia flights and at least 4 hours earlier for AirAsia X flights to avoid the expected congestion.Guests are also encouraged to conduct self check-in via web, mobile or kiosk services for a smoother journey, and pre-book sufficient baggage weight as each guest is only allowed to bring one piece of cabin baggage and1 laptop bag or 1 handbag weighing not more than 7kg on board. 

For guests with baggage to check-in, Baggage Drop counters close 60 minutes before departure for all AirAsia and AirAsia X flights. It is also advisable for our guests to pre-book their meals online, which is available up to 24 hours before scheduled departure time via ‘Manage My Booking’ to ensure meals are served during their flights. In addition, guests with group booking, reduced mobility or with special needs are only allowed to check-in at the counter and should allocate more time to clear all travelling formalities.
