AirAsia connects Hong Kong and Shenzhen through city transfer service

Hong Kong, 30 Dec 2019– AirAsia has introduced flight-plus-shuttle service between Hong Kong International Airport and Shenzhen Bay Port as well as Shenzhen Bao An International Airport in Mainland China.

Operated by Trans-Island Limousine Service Limited (TIL), this city transfer service provides guests in the Greater Bay Area with a seamless and hassle-free travel experience.

From today, guests are able to book their AirAsia flights together with a scheduled shuttle service on selected routes for travel on 1st Feb 2020 onwards, meaning they no longer need to worry about queues. 

AirAsia Hong Kong and Macao CEO Celia Lao said, “AirAsia is pleased to offer this convenient air-to-land connection for our guests travelling between Hong Kong airport and Shenzhen’s airport or Bay Port. With just one booking, visitors can enjoy a seamless service. As part of our commitment to enhancing the guest experience, this latest arrangement will provide AirAsia passengers with greater convenience, also help to further grow AirAsia’s connectivity in the Greater Bay Area.”  

To book the city transfer service, guests need to select “Shenzhen Bay Port (H1A)” or “Shenzhen Bao An International Airport (H1B)” as their origin or destination when booking their next flight on airasia.com, the AirAsia mobile app or via AirAsia’s WeChat mini program. Package options and prices of the flight-plus-city transfer service will then be made available.

AirAsia flights with city transfer services included must be booked at least 24 hours prior to their scheduled departure. The transfer service is not available for purchase as an add-on once a flight booking has been made.

AirAsia now operates direct flights from Hong Kong to Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket in Thailand, Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu (Sabah) in Malaysia and Manila in the Philippines.
