Travel Advisory: AirAsia flights affected by Typhoon Danas
KUALA LUMPUR, 19 July 2018 - AirAsia will retime the following flights from/to Busan, due to the severe weather system caused by Typhoon Danas.
The following flights are affected:
AirAsia has notified all affected guests via email and SMS. Guests who are travelling to/from Busan on the above date are encouraged to check their registered email and mobile for cancellation notifications.
Guests whose flights have been re-timed are also entitled to choose one of the following service recovery options:
1) Move flight: One-time flight change to a new departure date on the same route within 30 calendar days from the originally scheduled flight date without additional cost, subject to seat availability; OR
2) Credit account: Retain the value of fare in a credit account for future travel with AirAsia. The online Credit Account to be redeemed within 90 calendar days from the date of issue, for travel date of your choice; OR
3) Full Refund: Obtain a full refund for the amount equivalent to your booking directly to the original form of payment. This can be done via e-form available on support.airasia.com. Refund for bookings made through travel agents including online travel agents must be done via travel agents from which the booking was made.
Affected guests with Fly-Thru connections may also request to move their flight, once at no additional cost.
