KUALA LUMPUR, 23 February 2021 - IKHLAS has partnered with AskBee.my, the first on-demand video tutoring app, in an effort to help over 2,000 students sitting for their SPM exams through its #Save2020SPM campaign.

The campaign is also supported by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Malaysia, YB Senator Tuan Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal, who is sponsoring 2,000 free Tune Talk SIM cards that come with 10GB data to be distributed by IKHLAS. In addition, the students will benefit from 20 free one-on-one online tutoring sessions through live, on-demand guidance from volunteer teachers and undergraduates on AskBee.my.

SPM 2020 students nationwide who are interested in being part of the #Save2020SPM campaign can register here. Upon registration, they will receive the free Tune Talk SIM card in three working days along with the AskBee voucher via email containing instructions on how to redeem the 20 free one-on-one online tutoring sessions. The campaign will run on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Ikhlas Kamarudin, Head of IKHLAS said: “The pandemic has not just affected businesses and livelihood, but also the education system in the country. Many students, especially those sitting for the  SPM exam are still struggling to access online education, so we want to do our part to support them. Together with AskBee, we hope the #Save2020SPM campaign will help to alleviate their struggles to access online classes and tutorials so they can focus on studying for the exam. We would also like to take this opportunity to wish all the best to all SPM 2020 students!”

Since pre-launching the campaign online in January, IKHLAS has raised over RM40,000 which will be used to provide students with one-on-one personal tutoring and online learning fees for students and education aid for NGOs. The campaign will run until 25 March 2021 and everyone who wishes to donate can do so at ikhlas.com.
