[Updated as of 3 September 2021 0900hrs GMT+7]

JAKARTA, 3 September 2021 -- AirAsia Indonesia (flight code QZ) would like to announce that the temporary hibernation of its scheduled commercial flight operations has been extended until 30 September 2021 in support of the government’s efforts to control the fluctuating Covid-19 situation in Indonesia.

AirAsia however remains committed to serving regular, chartered and cargo flight services to support the repatriation of travellers and shipment of goods as well as other essential purposes in strict health and safety protocols.

We will continue to evaluate the situation closely and be prepared to reinstate our scheduled flight services at any time as the situation improves.

All guests who wish to change their flights during this period are encouraged to convert their flight booking into a credit account that is valid for future redemption for 730 days (2 years). Alternatively they can move their flights for an unlimited number of times without any charges to any date prior to 30 November 2021. Guests who request for a refund will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Guests can perform these changes via AVA on airasia.com or support.airasia.com.
