Capital A to promote convenient, affordable travel & lifestyle offerings to Police Co-op members through airasia Super App

KUALA LUMPUR, 31 MARCH 2022 - Capital A Berhad (formerly AirAsia Group Berhad), the investment holding company for the AirAsia group of airlines, airasia Super App, BigPay, Teleport and Redbeat Ventures is entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KOP Mantap Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Koperasi PDRM to explore collaboration opportunities between both parties. 

The MoU was signed today between Datuk Kamarudin Meranun, Executive Chairman of Capital A Berhad, who is also a Board of Director for the airasia Super App and Datuk Wan Nazri Wan Aria, Group CEO, KOP Mantap Berhad; witnessed by Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani, Inspector General of Police and YBhg Dato’ Hasanuddin Hassan, Chairman of Koperasi Polis Diraja Malaysia. 

Amongst the collaboration avenues being explored is the possible partnership to promote the recently-launched airasia SUPER+ subscription product to the members of Koperasi PDRM. 

The SUPER+ product is an enhanced version of the Unlimited pass that we offered last year, which allows any SUPER+ subscriber to fly both domestic and international destinations for free throughout the year, receive COVID pre-departure insurance coverage as well as enjoy free food delivery across all Asean countries that airasia food operates in.

This MoU also gives opportunities for other parts of the businesses such as BigPay, IKHLAS to explore potential collaboration with KOP Mantap as well.
