Travel Advisory: AirAsia flight operations in Guangzhou to be relocated to Terminal 1
GUANGZHOU, 18 January 2024 - AirAsia will relocate its international flight operations at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport from Terminal 2 (T2) to Terminal 1 (T1), effective 25 January 2024.
All AirAsia flights, operated by AirAsia Malaysia (flight code AK), AirAsia Thailand (flight code FD), and AirAsia Philippines (flight code Z2), will now arrive at and depart from T1. Affected guests will receive notifications of this change through their registered email and via SMS, along with a new flight itinerary via email. To ensure they are promptly informed of any updates to their flights, all guests are advised to update their latest contact details with AirAsia.
Additionally, impacted guests are encouraged to reprint their travel itinerary to reflect the correct departure terminal on the day of travel.
AirAsia flights arriving at and departing Guangzhou after midnight (00:00 hours - 06:00 hours) on 25 January will still be at T2.

Guests with connecting flights at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Terminal 2 are advised to plan their journey, ensuring they have sufficient time to move between the terminals.
