AirAsia launches new route to Port Blair in the Andamans from Singapore via a quick stopover in KL

SINGAPORE, 15 August 2024 - AirAsia continues its momentum of enabling affordable connectivity between Singapore and India via its seamless Fly-Thru services with the announcement of a new route to Port Blair, Andaman Islands, India - further solidifying its position as a leading low-cost carrier in the region. This route, the airline’s shortest Indian service, makes history with AirAsia serving as the sole airline to operate international flights to Port Blair in Asean.
Set to commence on 16 November 2024, AirAsia will fly thrice weekly to the island from Kuala Lumpur*. With the addition of Port Blair, AirAsia’s extensive connectivity links Singaporean travellers to 17 cities in India from Kuala Lumpur, namely Chennai, Jaipur and New Delhi - just to name a few.
