Ground Team Red数码航空货运枢纽开幕，拓展吉隆坡国际机场货运业务

雪邦，2019年12月12日 - 亚航有限公司与SATS有限公司的合资企业Ground Team Red (GTR)今日在吉隆坡国际机场航空货运站1（KLIA Air Cargo Terminal 1）为其公司的数码航空货运枢纽展开开幕仪式。

位于雪邦原先的低成本航站楼（LCCT），该航空货运枢纽占地93,000平方尺，耗资2,300万马币。它为现有的40,000平方尺的仓库增加了额外的存储空间，合并后的设施每年将处理30万吨的空运，从而强化马来西亚成为区域物流中心的目标。

新的航空货运枢纽将扩展GTR的能力，包括处理窄体与宽体飞机货运业务，并使用机械化的物料处理系统加强单位负载设备（Unit Load Devices）的处理效率。该设施还拥有一个10,000平方英尺的冷链设备专门处理易腐品与药品，还有专区处理危险品、宠物和贵重货物等。另外，现代安检货物扫描仪器可提供货物的横面与垂直视图，以增强检测能力。

交通部长陆兆福、亚航集团首席执行员Tony Fernandes、亚航集团主席（航空）Bo Lingam、SATS主席兼首席执行员Alex Hungate、GTR首席执行员陈天晋、马来西亚亚航首席执行员Riad Asmat、马来西亚亚航长程首席执行员Benyamin Ismail、及Teleport首席执行员Pete Chareonwongsak今日为GTR航空货运枢纽主持开幕典礼。

交通部长陆兆福说：“我在此祝贺GTR今天为其航空货运枢纽开幕，及他们为加强马来西亚航空地面运作所付出的努力。这是一个令人印象深刻的设施，将有助于提升KLIA和klia2作为重要的物流站，这与交通部的国家物流总体规划有一致的目标，从而将马来西亚发展成为物流枢纽。我也希望看到GTR复制此设施，特别是将其冷冻库功能复制到马来西亚的其他机场，以进一步增强我们将马来西亚发展为物流枢纽的雄愿。”

Ground Team Red 首席执行员陈天晋说：“我们预计吉隆坡国际机场的航空货运量将稳定增长。随着全球电子商务玩家在这地区的投资，增加货运容量的和数码化科技将增强航空货运处理服务。我们将继续努力，通过增强我们在马来西亚其他地区的能力而巩固马来西亚成为世界级物流枢纽的地位。”
