Travel Advisory: Thai AirAsia (FD) Offers Options For Guests With Flights To Hong Kong

Due to the ongoing aircraft fleet management and manpower shortage of ground handling support at the destination airport, Thai AirAsia (airline code FD), is offering guests the following service recovery options for those who wish to alter their travel plans, to help minimise the inconvenience.

Guests with flights booked  and scheduled to travel to Hong Kong are offered options as outlined below:

  1. Free Change Flight - You are entitled to a one time change to a new travel date of your choice within 30 days from the original scheduled departure date on the same route without any additional cost subject to seat availability.

  2. Credit Account - For Credit Account to the value of your booking, you may click the button below and follow the guidance accordingly. To enjoy an instant Credit Account, please link your booking to your AirAsia member account. If you haven't yet linked your booking to your member account, please refer here for details. *Our Credit Account is valid for 730 days from the date of issuance.

  3. Refund -  You may be eligible for a refund based on the terms and conditions of your flight booking. If you purchased your booking through pocket, your refund will be automatically credited to your account within 60 days  or align with the policy of  local regulation.

  4. Reroute - Guest can reroute flight within 30 days of travel from the original booking:

Bangkok (DMK) to Hong Kong (HKG) with the reroute options below:

1. Bangkok (DMK) to Macao (MFM); or

2. Bangkok (DMK) to Shenzhen (SZX); or**

3. Bangkok (DMK) to Guangzhou (CAN); or**

4. Bangkok (DMK) to Phuket (HKT) to Hong Kong (HKG); or

5. Bangkok (DMK) to Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Hong Kong (HKG)

Hong Kong (HKG) to Bangkok (DMK) with the reroute options below:

1. Macao (MFM) to Bangkok (DMK); or

2. Shenzhen(SZX) to Bangkok (DMK); or**

3. Guangzhou (CAN) to Bangkok (DMK); or**

4. Hong Kong (HKG) to Phuket (HKT) to Bangkok (DMK); or
