Travel Advisory : Thai AirAsia (FD) Suspends Phuket-Hong Kong Route

BANGKOK, 30 July 2024 - Thai AirAsia (FD) has announced the  suspension of services between Phuket and Hong Kong effective 1 September 2024 onward as part of its ongoing consumer demand and fleet management strategy. 

Decisions like this are never taken lightly and we understand any inconvenience this may cause our guests. 

In our commitment to minimise  any inconvenience to affected valued guests, the airline offers the following service recovery options for those who wish to make alternate travel plans: 

• Credit Account: which can be redeemed within 2 calendar years from the date of issue; OR

• Full refund: Obtain a full refund in the amount equivalent to the original booking.

Affected guests will be notified directly via their registered member email account, as well as via an SMS notification, OR via ask BO. Thai AirAsia X strongly encourages all guests to keep their email addresses and mobile numbers with their country code prefix updated in their AirAsia member profiles at Manage My Booking via airasia.com to ensure they are contactable for further assistance.

The above options are applicable for direct online bookings made via airasia.com or airasia MOVE only. For other types of bookings, such as those made through travel agents, kindly refer to your respective booking channel for further assistance.
