Thai AirAsia X increases frequency for Bangkok Suvarnabhumi-Seoul route 10 flights a week kicking off with 20% discount promotion on all seats*

BANGKOK, 8 August 2022 - Thai AirAsia X (flight code XJ) is increasing flight frequency for its Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi (BKK) to Seoul (ICN), South Korea route to 10 flights per week starting this October, just in time for the country's colorful and cool autumn season.

As a special treat for its loyal guests, Thai AirAsia X is offering 20% off on all seats* and all routes. Book via the airasia Super App from 8-14 August 2022 for travel between 22 August 2022 to 18 April 2023.

Mr Tassapon Bijleveld, acting CEO of Thai AirAsia X, said: “We have seen a very encouraging response towards our Bangkok Suvarnabhumi-Seoul flights since its recent resumption. We are mounting more flights for this popular sector in anticipation of a spike in demand towards the final quarter of the year, being South Korea's high season for travel.

"As we seek to provide better service with added convenience for tourists and travelers between both countries, there will be daily flights from Survanabhumi to Incheon beginning October, with an additional frequency every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, making it a total of 10 flights weekly. The route is so popular that it recorded an average load factor of 90% in the months of June and July," Mr Tassapon said.
