Travel Advisory: Thai AirAsia X replaces Credit Accounts with Travel Vouchers with 2-year extended validity
BANGKOK, 3 August , 2022 - Following the unprecedented effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, Thai AirAsia X is continuing with its rehabilitation plan to strengthen its business platform and provide better service and convenience to passengers for the future.
Guests are hereby advised that usage of Credit Accounts for Thai AirAsia X flight bookings (airline code XJ) will be available until 31 August 2022, after which time the remaining balance, if any, will be automatically converted into a Travel Voucher that comes with an additional two-year validity for greater flexibility.
Travel Vouchers will have an extended validity of two years from the expiry date of the Credit Account.
Travel Vouchers will be provided to the full value of any outstanding XJ flight bookings, as stated in the passenger’s Credit Account as at 31 August.
Travel Vouchers may be used to book Thai AirAsia X (airline code: XJ) flights only and will be valid for all seats on all flights, including during peak travel periods.
To maximise passengers’ choice and convenience, Thai AirAsia X will continue to increase flight frequencies to South Korea and Japan and will be soon introducing additional popular routes so passengers can make the most of their Travel Vouchers.
