From thrilling to winning moments: Allstars unite behind airasia Thrills

While AirAsia continuously invests in its people during the pandemic, the company has risen up to different challenges and successfully pivoted into remarkable feats. Allstars seeking to help the company in its turbulent times are constantly supporting Airasia’s initiatives. 

AirAsia Philippines’ recently launched airasia Thrills - a web series featuring exciting activities across the country, composed of amazing Allstar pilots, cabin crew and guest services assistant who have seized the opportunity to be part of the production team. These Allstars have the same goal in taking on the challenge - to turn thrilling moments into winning milestones.

BEHIND THE THRILLS

Segment producer: Cabin crew Christian “Badi” Badilles

Badi shared that his experiences since college has sharpened him in his present role. Taking it to the next level as segment producer of airasia Thrills, Badi shares his realizations with the importance of hardwork and teamwork -  be it in the cabin, office or even in the most thrilling challenges in life.

Carlo’s experience in handling his small business has hugely contributed to his expertise in graphic designing and video editing. According to him, the training stage in his designated role was the most challenging part, but what made it thrilling was the awesome support he got from his colleagues. 

Camera operator: Guest services assistant Kristofferson “Toffy” Padilla

Toffy, known for his great artworks in travel photography, volunteered in sharing his forte by joining as one of the cam operators in airasia Thrills. On top of featuring amazing activities, his eyes shed light on capturing creative cinematography showcasing the beauty of the Philippines.

CONQUERING NEW THRILLS

Allstar hosts: FO Rod de Lara,  Cabin Crew Bien Geronimo, and Stephanie Garcia

From flying to hosting, the main hosts have accepted the challenge of conquering their fears and turning it into opportunities.

Hosting has been a road to self discovery for Rod. “I was told that the whole series will be about trying thrilling activities. Since I’m a triathlete who’s always in search of heart-pumping adventures, I believe this host requirement  suits me”, he shared. He added that he is enjoying his new learnings in facing the camera. 

Bien, who has been with Airasia for almost a decade, shared what inspired him to join airasia Thrills, “My role as a senior cabin crew and instructor allowed me to share and learn from the experiences of the people around me. These things I carry with me as I explore the wonders of the Philippines, and help educate our guests on the advocacy of loving our country and its people even more.” 

Lastly, Stephanie, a social media influencer on the side, has been part of numerous AirAsia advertisements and campaigns in various local and regional destinations. “I may not be as athletic as Rod and Bien but I’ll make sure to spice up the thrilling activities with fun insights, trivia and lady-like stuff”, she shared.
