AirAsia Philippine's flights impacted by Tropical Storm Opong (‘Bualoi’)
UPDATED AS OF 25 September 2025 | 4:30 PM, Manila, Philippines – Due to the forecasted unfavorable weather conditions and potential risks brought by Tropical Storm Opong (‘Bualoi’), AirAsia Philippines informs guests of the cancellation of following flights going to and from Manila on 25 & 26 September 2025.
AirAsia Philippines has directly notified all affected guests via email and SMS on their flight status and service recovery options. As the weather situation remains fluid, guests travelling to or from the affected destinations on 25 & 26 September 2025 are advised to stay updated via the AirAsia MOVE app (airasia.com/flightstatus), the AskBo chatbot and their registered email for the latest information.
In the light of the weather event, AirAsia has provided service recovery options for all affected guests:
Move Flight: One-time free date change within 30 days of your original departure, on the same route within the AirAsia network, at no extra charge and subject to seat availability; OR
Credit Account: Valid for 730 days from the date of issuance to your AirAsia member account; OR
Full Refund: To be issued to the original form of payment.
