AirAsia India opens its second office in India

BENGALURU, 28 November 2017 - AirAsia India, opens up its second office in the country followed by the Head Office in Bengaluru. The new facility in New Delhi was inaugurated by
AirAsia Allstars*.

The fully operational office located inside Aerocity is designed on a 2,100 sq. ft. space and can accommodate upto 40 Allstars. The office is equipped with training, conference and meeting rooms and will house teams across corporate affairs, sales and Delhi based commercial Allstars.

Commenting on the inauguration, AirAsia India MD & CEO Amar Abrol said, “New Delhi, which is also one of our hubs, is an important market for us. We have received a remarkable response to our initiatives in the past and see great scope for growth in this market. This is also a natural extension for us and stands as a testimony to AirAsia’s continued momentum and commitment to the country and Indian aviation”.

Talent recruitment has been one of our key investments area for AirAsia India this year and the airline will work towards building a robust team across India and increase the headcount significantly to support its growing operations.

AirAsia India currently flies to 16 destinations with its hubs in Bengaluru, New Delhi and Kolkata, covering Kochi, Goa, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Pune, New Delhi, Guwahati, Imphal, Vizag, Hyderabad, Srinagar, Bagdogra, Ranchi, Kolkata and Bhubaneswar.
