Qurban Perdana ikhlas.com 2024 exceeds target, benefits 120,000 recipients

KUALA LUMPUR, 17 June 2024 – The Qurban Perdana 2024 program organised by Ikhlas Com Travel & Umrah Sdn Bhd (ikhlas.com) successfully exceeds its target with the distribution of nearly 30,000 kilograms of fresh sacrificial meat to approximately 120,000 recipients locally and abroad in conjunction with this year's Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration.

The annual program by IKHLAS Qurban, one of the Islamic lifestyle services offered by the one-stop platform ikhlas.com, also received high demand for ‘sado’ cows weighing between 800 and 1,200 kilograms each for this year's sacrificial worship (qurban) with a total of eight orders compared to five last year.

Chief Executive Officer of ikhlas.com, Ikhlas Kamarudin said, “‘Sado’ cows are still in demand due to their large size, high quality meat and can be distributed to more recipients compared to normal cows.”

“IKHLAS Qurban intends to further increase the target with at least one ‘sado’ cow in each state and expand our annual program to National Level Qurban Perdana in the coming season.”

Qurban Perdana ikhlas.com 2024 comprises of seven locations including Kem Tun Ibrahim, Kajang in collaboration with the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) involving a total of 500 members of the 31st Royal Artillery Regiment Battalion in addition to Masjid Ibnu Mas'ud, Jalan Damai Kuala Lumpur; Masjid Meranti, Puchong Selangor and Masjid Jamek Tan Sri Jalil Hassan, Pasir Gudang Johor supported by Halo Telco on the first day of Aidiladha.

On the second day, the program continues with special appearances by social media personalities, CEO Batu and CEO Bieziy, to celebrate some 800 asnaf receiving donations of rice, food baskets and special dishes made from fresh qurban meat donated by the Maaidah Alrahman Welfare Club, Selangor (Al Aman) and the parish of Masjid At-Taqwa Kampung Melayu Subang.

Then on the third Eid, ikhlas.com's Commercial Advisor, Datuk Rosyam Nor makes a special appearance at Qurban Perdana 2024 for a meet and greet with the members of Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (Angkasa) Petaling Jaya.

On the same day, Mahsuri Dagang Sdn Bhd and the Sabah Community Assistance Association donate about 800 kilograms of two ‘sado’ cow qurban meat to the Terengganu Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIDAM), the Terengganu State Education Department and the asnaf group on Redang Island.
