AirAsia's One and Only ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ Aircraft Gets A New Cabin Makeover! New Designs Feature Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and Sonic Rumble
TOKYO, October 16 2025 – SEGA is proud to announce that a recent partnership with AirAsia to bring about the one and only ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ aircraft, has just announced the completely redesigned interiors which feature the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and Sonic Rumble.
Additionally, decals featuring the ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ aircraft will also be available in the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

The cabin design of the AirAsia X Airbus A330 (tail number: 9M XXU) aircraft has been renewed to feature Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and Sonic Rumble designs. Decorations depicting Sonic and his friends adorn the cabin, allowing passengers to enjoy the world of Sonic.

To add on to this partnership, AirAsia-themed decals will also appear in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Players can customise their Machines and experience a race full of unpredictable surprises where the course changes with every lap.
Furthermore, the title has received an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam and a user score of over 9.0 on Metacritic.
