AirAsia Philippines, committed to helping the nation in pandemic recovery, partnered with the Rotary Club of San Juan North, Rotaract Tuguegarao Citadel, Association of Certified Public Accountants in Commerce and Industry (ACPACI), I Saved, and the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao to bring and administer 3000 flu shots in Solana and Tuguegarao, Cagayan last December 19 and 27, 2021. A research by the University of Florida analyzed electronic health records for 2,000 COVID-19 patients in 2020. The study has shown that the flu vaccine also significantly reduces a COVID-19 patient's risk for ending up in an intensive care unit (ICU). The vaccination program has been done under AirAsia Philippines umbrella CSR program, alwaysredy: Anytime, Anywhere.
