Reaffirming its position as the leader in Thailand's domestic aviation market, Thai AirAsia has announced a strategic increase in flight frequencies for the fourth quarter of 2026. The airline will continue to advance its dual-airport operational strategy in Bangkok to maximize passenger connectivity and convenience. Effective 1 October 2026, Thai AirAsia will operate direct flights from Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) to 22 domestic destinations, and from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to three key regional hubs: Phuket, Krabi, and Chiang Mai. This expansion is further supported by the introduction of nine cross-regional routes designed to facilitate seamless domestic travel and stimulate regional economies.
